Our first baby was a magical hospital birth and our second was unfortunately traumatic.
Isabelle listened to our concerns and answered every question we had and brought up things we hadn't even thought about.
I love that Isabelle and her assistant truly care about each mom that walks through their doors. They make sure you are physically healthy, but go a step further and check on your mental health at each and every visit. They listen and hold space to how you perceive a situation and allow a space for you to heal from past wounds and a space for you to voice any current worries.
I had so much prodromal labor with this pregnancy that I thought I was in actual labor 4 times. I was feeling discouraged and a bit silly like I was the boy crying wolf. Isabelle was quick to say every baby and every pregnancy was different and although I felt like it wasn't leading anywhere, my body was just prepping itself for the actual big day. she never once made me feel like I was an idiot when I would text, "just a heads up..." instead she always made me feel better.
I am beyond grateful to both Isabelle and he assistant, the way the two of them work together is amazing to witness and their knowledge and comforting presence are overwhelming in the most amazing sense.
During office visits, labor and postpartum, I felt safe, loved, heard, respected and empowered.
I will forever be grateful to both of them and how they allowed my birth at home to be so incredibly magical.”

“I am so emotional about Isabelle and my entire experience with her during my latest pregnancy, labor and delivery. I can’t even put into words how well she took care of me. She sat in her office and chatted with me about my fears and anxiety (they were at an ultimate high during the last few days of my pregnancy.) She said, “once you let yourself go down that path during labor it’s hard to get back together so if you’re up here , don’t fall off.” During the most intense part of my labor, I swear I left the planet and took her words “don’t fall off” with me. I kept saying it in my head over and over and I can’t really remember much else from that part of my baby’s delivery. When she came to check on us one last time last week, I didn’t want her to leave. That shows the bond she built and the trust I have in her. I am forever grateful for the birth experience she helped me achieve. The taboo around home birth needs to be something of the past. Hospital births are rarely necessary. I am not kidding when I say I couldn’t of asked for a more peaceful and comfortable birthing experience. I feel like a warrior, closer to my baby, closer to my husband and our family for being there and experiencing it with us. Seriously, the best experience of my life and definitely most emotional.”

“I had the most beautiful, perfect birth experience I could have imagined with My Mindful Birth. During pregnancy, I was always listened to closely and treated with respect and they trusted in my instincts as a mom. When delivery came, it was the same. I had so much confidence in what I could do because of how I was treated and trusted during pregnancy, and in delivery I was allowed the space and freedom to do what I felt was best for me and baby and the results were beautiful. Delivery was seamless and the aftercare was so warm and caring. They cleaned everything up, they made me food, waited to do anything with the baby until I was ready. Everything was perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.”

It truly was the most peaceful and wonderful birth. For baby N’s birth, things didn’t go as planned right from the beginning, but what was constant was your support, presence, and wisdom through it. When I had to get into that ambulance a million thoughts were running through my. mindbut I heard you say on the other end of the phone “I’ll meet you at the hospital’. When the ambulance doors opened, there you stood … standing in the freezing cold for me. You never left my side til my sweet baby was in my arms. The way you cared and supported me brings me tears. I will never be able to repay you for the impact you have had on my life. When I think back to my births, you will always hold a special place in my story. “I cannot even put into words what you mean to me … I remember texting you that morning to tell you how I was feeling. You called me right away, and told me to keep you updated. Then around 4pm, I texted you again and you called me back right away again and told me you were coming over. Then when you walked in, I felt peace, took a deep breath and in my head said “ok, she’s here, here we go”.
All throughout my labor, you were by my side, asking ME what I wanted to do, what I felt, how things were going. You were listening to every word and intervened when I needed you to. I couldn’t and wouldn’t have ever been able to succeed with a home birth without you. TRULY, you are so WISE. I still am brought to tears just remembering how you knew exactly what to do and how to get him out. Thank you for loving me and being my midwife! …”
